So last year I did turkey on my Weber kettle, I absolutely loved it. Being the experimenter that I am, I plan on doing a rotissorie turkey on my Silver C gasser. Can I get some feed back from folks who have done this before, the results. I do plan on smoking in the grill with a foil pan and chips, I am thinking cherry and Maple chips.
 
Prior to getting my smokers I did my birds on my Genesis all the time. I would use a smoker box with wood chips (or foil packets), cook at about 325 until the desired temp is reached. If memory serves me correctly I foiled about 1 to 1:15 hours in.

The following bird was done on my gasser and my Mother claims it was the best bird she's ever tasted. Always had great results:
