One more question if you don't mind, what is that bin you replaced the propane control plate with. Sorry if I am annoying you, but I traded a 18" WSM I wasn't using for a Recteq with this specific project in mind.

I used a non-gas Performer frame. There was no control panel. It is just a 3 sided piece of sheet metal that Weber had put there... I believe it is for storage. That's what I use it for.

You could add an additional raised cooking grate by adding a Weber Smokey Mountain 22” lid and it would look waaaayyyyy cool.
