I’m not sure where they go but they are seasonal here and they have just migrated back.
We’ve noticed that when they first come back the do a mating ritual dance for a few weeks and often see them hauling big branches.
We can be doing chores and then notice the birds locked up diving from the sky near us.
It’s a blessing.
We have a lot of eagles where we live in the PNW.
There is even a pair that nest in one of the taller trees we have on our driveway.
Our nesting pair use the same nest year after year and it seems to get larger every year year.
