Tucked into a little mall on Westheimer is Stockyard BBQ. This is a great place for real BBQ - the Oyler smoker poking out the front like an errant VW bus is your first clue. Inside, in typical Texas cafeteria style is a nice little place with good service. Nothing fancy to be sure. The satr is Texas brisket. Extreme;y good. Add a side of cheesy "heart attack potatoes" and bacon-infused cabbage or cuke salad and you get a awesome plate.
