This location isn’t too far from Central BBQ. I highly recommend the BBQ pork sammich. The slaw is a must on this delight, it’s a mustard based slaw dressing with just the right amount of tang and sweetness. The pork is perfect, with the right amount of crispy pieces of bark.
I’m not sure what the building used to be, maybe an old service station, but they really do have great BBQ and I believe it’s run by a mom and her sons. The tables and chairs do not match, like they bought from a flea market or thrift store. Really neat atmosphere.
It’s been a few years since I’ve been in there but try to make it every time I go to Memphis.
