Tailgating with the Mini

My two daughters live in uptown New Orleans & we're going to watch marti gras parades this weekend. The parade route is about 5 blocks from their appt. The street is a boulevard with a large grassy medium, we're taking chairs, rolling ice chest, 2 dogs, food & the mini.
charcoal,wood, lighter,spices,tongs & weber lighter cubes are in the 2 parts.

John, looking for some pics of the cook! Still envious of the Stickers! If I could get my hands on some with the Green Bay 'G', or maybe the Appalachian State 'A', they would be on the mini in a heartbeat!

Two hints for those using the mini for tailgating, camping etc,
You don't need a charcoal chimney, put a weber lighter cube below the grate& put about 20 briquettes above ,let light well and add unlit briquettes.
A 9 in steel pie plate makes a good light weight heat diffuser.
