Stokerlog use of URL instead of ip address

Was wondering if there are any plans to allow stokerlog to use a url instead of an ip address to attach to a stoker via the web? We are using a url at dyndns.com along with the DDNS feature of the Linksys router to keep the dynamic ip assigned by the ISP in sync. It would be nice to just be able to enter the url. I don't have any appreciation for what kind of work that would require so if it is much just write this off as ignorance. Stokerlog is really a great program. Thanks

Stokerlog uses a special interface into stoker which requires an IP address. So an URL would not work for that. You should be able to translate the URL given by dyndns using one of many tools. For example, open a command window (Start->Run->cmd) and run "ping" with the URL and see what IP address it outputs as it is pinging the target. That would be the number you can use.
