Stok grill at homedepot

Arrg. Been lazy in buying the Stok grill grate at Home Depot. They have run out of the insert removal tool and probably won't be getting anymore. (I heard they might end this line). It would have been an easy add on to meet the free shipping amount.
Now I have to figure out something else.

If it's the 22 1/2 inch kettle CI grate, there is another inexpensive option without shelling out $110+ for the Craycort.

I bought one of these and they are REALLY nice. Very reasonably priced too.

Thing I really like about it is the "insert" piece (it's a 2-piece design) fits perfectly in 18.5 inch kettles (or WSMs).

Last I saw HD was selling the whole darn grill for $75 online. I was looking at the $40 grate as well, but for $35 I might just buy it and try to re-sell the thing as NIB on craigslist with a weber grate instead of the cast iron grate.

I just got the Stok cast iron grate. I am very happy with my purchase. I wouldn't fool with that whole grill. Just get what you need. I do kinda wish I had seen that charbroil CI grate though I do like the look of that.

I also purchased the Stok CI grate and found it to be soooo much better than the original OTG grate. Great grill marks on steaks - only thing is you need to heat the grates for about 15 minutes or so to get them up to temp - so coal temps may diminish a bit if you like a super hot fire for steaks...

You can always remove the center grate and toss in more coals
