Steak Deal of the Week

On the way home from work this afternoon I stopped at our local Dominick's store. They always have a section in the meat department with super specials or cuts that they have too much of with a short date code. Today they had a T-bone chuck steak,3LBs priced at $7.78. I could not let it sit there, and it made for a great dinner, along with some fries, with plenty of leftovers for steak sandwiches. In the economy of today I really like deals like this.

Kroger has boneless whole rib eye's at $5/lb. Fair to good but-not-awesome steaks. Remember the restaurant that says they sell steak-burgers and not hamburgers? Ground, it is awesome.
