Spicy Cheddar-Stuffed Burgers

Spicy Cheddar-Stuffed Burgers

1 (7 oz.) can chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, undrained
2 lbs. ground beef
2 tsp. Montreal steak seasoning
1/2 (10 oz.) block Cheddar Cheese, cut into 4 thick slices
4 sesame seed hamburger buns
toppings of your choice

1. Process chipotle peppers in a blender or food processor until smooth. Combine 4 tsp. puree, ground beef and steak seasoning in a large bowl until blended.
2. Shape beef mixture into 8 patties; place 1 cheese slice on 4 of the patties. Place remaining patties on top, seal edges. Cover and chill 30 minutes or up to 24 hours.
3. Preheat grill to 350 to 400F. Cover and grill 7 to 8 minutes on each side. Place on buns with desired toppings.
