Some filet and ribeyes on Ninja

I feel like I am a broken record. One thing about the Ninja is especially for steaks, chops, burgers, etc. This is NOT a set & forget do other things grill. So sadly I screwed up 2 gorgeous ribeye steaks because I tried to treat it as such while I was pre-occupied in the kitchen. The filets came out nicely, but the ribeyes cooled the plate down more than I anticipated and I did not get the wonderful cook/Maillard reaction I typically get on this little beauty. My original plan was to use the Member's Mark tonight. (tried, proven, and always great). But we've had threat of rain and snow, very cold strong wind, and I just did not feel like messing with the cover, wheeling it around and messing with it. So ninja was pressed into service, and I did not give it proper attention as I was too pre-occupied with WAY WAY too many other things.
I got GREAT flavor but bad texture. :( Luckily I have 1 nice ribeye left and 2 very nice looking filets. Another day and this time it WILL be right or I am gonna hang up my tongs :D
