so run that past me again, how to adjust your temperatures on WTG??

So is this right??

The bottom vent adjust airflow and the temperatures, what is the purpose of the top vent?

If its to hot and i wanted to bring temps down, close up the vent? add a water filled tray? dont put so much fuel in the first place?

If i wanted to get it hotter open up the lower vent, what to do with the top vent? add more fuel?

To get low and slow temps in your kettle you need to adjust the top vent as well as the bottom vent. I have mine at about 1/8 for the bottom vent and 1/3-1/2 for the top vent. I do most of the temp adjustments with the top vent. When you use the minion method you don't need much lit to get you going. I light 3-4 lumps with a blow torch at one end.

This is the set up. You can see I barely lit any lump.
