What would be a fair price for a Smokey Joe Platinum new in the box on CL?

yea, had a brain fart. platinum is the key word. so used $25 and under. new can go up to $50. just depends on how bad ya want/need one.

Well, the seller never got back to me and the ad has been removed. I guess he got the full price he was asking ($40). I wish I had offered the full price when I had the chance. I'm spending next weekend at a friend's cabin that only has a cheap gasser and wish I had a portable instead of hauling one of my 22.5 kettles up there.

lew, personaly i would get a 18.5 kettle. if need be make some short legs for it. cheaper and easier to find/get.
