Peeps, this is one of the Best Soups I have EVER had. Not to mention one of the easiest to make.

Smoked Sausage & Corn Chowder Soup

1 lb. smoked sausage (Old Folks)
1 large onion
3-4 large sliced potatoes
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. basil
1/2 to 1 tsp. pepper
2 cups water
1 - 14 oz. can cream style corn
1 - 14 oz. can whole kernel corn (undrained)
1 - 12 oz. can evaporated milk

Crumble sausage in skillet and brown, then drain fat. Put sausage in deep pan and return 3 Tlbsp. fat to pan. Sautee onions with sausage.

Add potatoes, salt, pepper, basil and water. Cover and simmer until potatoes are soft.

Stir in cream corn, whole kernel corn, and evaporated milk. Cover and heat until corn is cooked. Do not boil hard.

Notes: The smoked sausage is the ground breakfast type, not the link. Also, this recipe is really not that good with just regular sausage.
Also, I just brown my sausage in the soup pan and do not drain the fat as the Old Folks brands is pretty lean.
If you try this and you like it, give me a shout out!
