I was wondering if anyone has looked at this product to convert a kettle to a smoker.www.smoke-ez.com I like the fish/sausage hanger. I emailed Buddy and asked if I could buy one for my 22.5 WSM. He said that it comes as a package. I think this would be a great item to have made. I would buy one just like I would buy the stainless door. I love my 22 WSM. I just think the top grill would make a great meat hanger. Can anyone make one?

I really need to learn how to weld. I can see cutting up a 22.5" cooking grate and a Smokey joe cooking grate, then welding them together into something like that.

If you are just looking for the hanger that will fit the contour for the WSM lid then wouldn’t any metal work. Just looking at it you could probably use a metal flower hanging basket like THIS, flip it over and add hooks. The other products I saw were the 3 tiered baskets that people hang in their kitchens. Find the right diameter, take it apart, and just add hooks to hang the sausage from.

Thanks for the suggestions, I like the flower hanger idea and the weld two grates together idea too. I'm gonna try both of them. Bill I think the whole EZ smoker is about $170 and they don't sell that part seperately. BTW any word on that new door? Thanks again
