Size of the bucket

You should be good, I believe this was a 23lb bird.

That is what I use. You should be good to go. Of course, my wife told me this morning that her sister wants to do the bird at her house and then bring it here. Guess I will smoke a standing rib roast so I have something I know will be cooked right. You might also want to put the bucket in a cooler with ice surrounding it in the event you can't fit it in the fridge. Have fun with that bird.
