Serendipity

So the past few days "Da Boss" and I have been in the Twin Cities. Dropped my old Martin guitar off at the "hospital" for repairs, and spent a few days visiting with old friends. Yesterday we decided to travel NW of the Cities to a winery in Waconia MN. Well on the way there wouldn't you know my blood sugar decides to "crash". Well after even a few glucose tabs there was no relief from the alarms. While still underway our friend John chimes in he'd eaten at this great BBQ joint just as we were driving by and the smells simply said "turn around" so I went a few hundred feet up the road, flipped the BZ around and right back. What an absolute treasure of a place. Outstanding pits, a pitmaster that knew his stuff, an outstanding place, great music piped in (pretty much the same mix I use on Pandora 50, 60s, early 70s, Motown, a little country and rock) fantastic service as well. On to the winery. a great VERY relaxing and scenic spot as well.
Oh, and the BZ? performed VERY well. Even though we did over 800 miles RT the vehicle was excellent. Smooth, quiet relaxing drive. I thought it was gonna be an "adventure" but it really performed wonderfully. None of the problems the haters like to preach.

Oh, and not only did the BZ perform beautifully. It truly made it a less tiring drive because it's so peaceful and quiet inside, the "Concierge level climate control" kept the cabin perfect 72, controlled the cooled front seats keeping our butts nicely chilled, and all very quietly and efficiently, Had my Pandora music mix on, listening to great tunes, no engine or driveline sounds. Helluva road tripper.
And oh, my old Martin D12-28 is officially in the hospital in St Paul MN
