Royal Oak Briquets

I see where Lowes has RO Super-Size briquets, 10 lb., sacks for $5. Has anyone used these and, if so, how are they?

Using KPro as the baseline, RO takes a little longer to start, and puts out a lot of smoke on lighting. Leaves a LOT of ash. But does yield a very nice smoky flavor on whatever you cook. just recently finished up my RO stash from Lowe’s, but would use again.
