I recently used my regular weber kettle rotisserie on the performer with good results. There was a bit of a leak initally because of the probe grommets I installed , but I added a foil gasket and things went swimmingly.
I was not aware of a special rotisserie for the performer - isn't it the same as a weber kettle except for the flanges on the sides to bolt it to the frame?
Maybe the Cajun bandit kit. I wish I knew about this before I bought the regular weber one. The weber one works good. I just like how the cajun bandit one doesn't have the gap. http://www.shop.cajunbandit.co...duct.sc?productId=12
the cajun bandit one fits much better than the weber. MUCH better.
i bought both just because i wanted to be sure.
I was also going to buy the ez que one, but I was happy with the cajun bandit rotis, so i stopped hunting
Robert,
The Performer is the same size as a regular 22" kettle. If you plan to use your bbq as a smoker, you want something that is air tight.
The Cajun Bandit is a copy of the Weber, only its stainless and it seems to be better at keeping air out. (Based on reviews, I don't own one) Both are priced similiarly.
