Rotisserie Turkey

Planning on doing a rotisserie turkey and my question is how much charcoal should I put in the baskets. All lit or some lit.
Any advise is appreciated.

I do both baskets full of lit and add unlit coals as needed after an hour or so.

Assuming you're doing it on a 22 inch kettle, I use around 28 per side, restocking each side with 9 or 10 briquettes each hour.
