I am looking to buy one for my new roti and would like some suggestions. Stainless steel preferably. I was looking at this one but it's a little pricey. I could almost buy a ribolator for that much.

my basket is 15.5" x 9.5" . it fits with a decent clearance. you should be ok with one an inch bigger both ways but thats about it.

Thanks for the help George! Nice scores. What type is the round one you have? It looks like it's for kabobs.

yep, its a kabob unit from the 60's. seems to have been used very little if at all. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>Those kabobs sure were popular in the 60's weren't they?

Ever notice how many kabob accessories were made then?

What are your thought's on this ?

i find that rotis rather interesting. not a bad price either. but not made for small stuff like the basket. there is a guy that made his own that is similar to that. yea, seen those kabob baskets. not sure why but they don't interest me. but i can see folks buying them.

I wonder if Ace carries them in store? I like the price and the design. Even if they aren't SS, I think they would still last me a long time since I probably would only use them about four times a year or so. I am still getting a regular basket for small items.

i see no reason why a simple basket couldn't be made. i would use ss as much as possible. maybe use some simple framework with ss expanded sheetmetal.
