Roasted Root Vegies

1 butternut squash
1 onion
carrots
parsnips
beets
Olive oil 'em salt and pepper -or-
Jazz it up:
1 t ea. cinnamon, chili powder, cumin and
1/2 t tumeric


Roast at 425 in a convection oven or-450 in a conventional oven for 35-45 minutes
 
Tonight we used curry in place of tumeric. It worked very well. I wanted to try that Raz spice Kevin raves about but I got vetoed by my better half.

I did a test, one batch in 425 conventional oven, one batch in a 425 convection oven.

Convection oven wins hands down. If you use a convetional oven, up the temps to 450.
 
sounds good I usually use sweet potato and no but-nut but tthat's just me also I like a little sage with mine
