Restore: Just noticed a cut in the gas line to side burner

Hmm, I'm hoping to restore a Genesis with the long bottom table and side burner, and I just noticed today that the gas hose to the side burner has a cut or two. I haven't connected to a propane tank yet, but I'm wondering if anyone had any advice on this. My options are to see if the cuts are superficial and aren't leaking; call Weber for a replacement gas hose (would this be difficult to replace?); or to scout around for another side burner with gas hose (are these hard to install, given the age?)

Any ideas? Thanks.

Hard to tell but those just look like abrasions to the outer jacket of the hose. Try a leak detection

Hook it up and get some soapy water on those cuts and watch for bubbles to be sure, but i would bet your ok.
