So I'm thinking about doing a little restoration work on my father's old Brinkman Smoke king smoker. With the advent of Kamados, proper sized heavy duty grates are now available, and from the measurements I may be able to use a 18" WSM water pan for the charcoal pan/ash catcher.
It's definitely seen better days, but that cooker has been my father's since I was at least three or four years old. If I ever find someone worth having kids with, might be nice for them to enjoy a little bit of family history.
