I just picked up a red 22.5 on the way home from church today. The bowl and the lid are in pretty good shape. The lady wanted $20 for it. The handle came off the lid, so I got it for $10. Has anyone ever tack welded or riveted a handle back on? The lid has "Johnsonville" stenciled on it. Anyone seen one like this?

I "back the truck up" and lost the lid off the back, csusing the handle to come off.
quick fix was to drill out hole and used SS bolt,nut,fender and lock washer for the fix.
Almost as good as new??????

do as arnie did. thats gonna be a eye catcher for sure. not many out there like that promo unit.
Arnie that sound like a great idea, I work at a GM dealer so I will raid the nut and bollt bin.I will get some high heat engine paint and touch it up and buff it out. Then my wife will post some before and after pictures.
