Recently picked up a OTG and I'm falling in love with charcoal again!

Coworker passed me a few year old, rarely used OTG and I have been having a blast cooking over REAL fire again!
The one thing I miss is the the workspace of my Genesis. Anyone care to share experience with the kettle work table? Is it worth the extra $45? It is definitely is driving me to search CL for a performer.

AAhh the lure of the fire...It's fantastic isn't it !!?? Here is an option for you. Google and or go to KMart online, and look for the Lifetime personal table. It is $30. I use this for extra space, even when I use my performer.No it doesn't attach to the kettle, but it is a very sturdy table. Some of the pros here can comment on the kettle table. Welcome to the forum.

Hi Phil,
I just bought one a week ago at my local Ace. So far, so good. I NEED a side table and thought abought getting 2 to make it a quasi-platinum-ish grill. I was surprised at the weight of it (heavy). I did buy bigger rubber foot-tips to make it "stick" to my deck. Just like a motorcycle, the grill is just the down payment on the accessories!
