Basic BBQ RUB
1/4 c brown sugar
1/4 c sweet paprika
3 T black pepper
4 T coarse salt
2 t garlic powder
2 t onion powder
2 t celery seeds
1 t cayenne
My optional:
1/2 t oregano
1/2 t thyme
I prefer dark brown sugar(dry in 150 oven for 30-45 minutes). You can cut the salt in half or like K. Kruger leave it out entirely (salt meat then apply rub-a good way to limit salt).
