python on openwrt?

Is it possible to install python on the HeaterMeter openwrt? It would be nice to have tweepy installed to bring twitter support to the HM.

You can install any standard OpenWrt package, however there's only something like 6 megs of drive space left on a default install so I don't know if you can make all the prerequisites fit.

I just finished extending the root partition to 1.5GB

Is this the repo I should be using for the HM OpenWrt on the rPi?

Nope, use the release directory 12.09 http://downloads.openwrt.org/attitude_adjustment/12.09/brcm2708/generic/packages/

Anything that's a kernel module will have to be force installed but should work fine.

Thanks, I actually meant to put the non RC link in.

So far I've got python installed but I can't get setuptools without encountering a "Bus error" error message.
