Pulled out the Member's Mark

So, I have a load of things in the Member's Mark. Yeah the Ninja is great but there's times I still long for what a smoker will do. So inside is a giant Tomahawk IDK how heavy it was but it's about 3" thick, and it cost $50! Also 2 filets I will "over cook" sinfully for daughter's SO, and one more filet for wife. Thin cut, waiting in fridge as it will go straight onto Ninja on med grill setting and of course ruined to her tastes as well
Also have an extra beef back rib on the smoker. Daughter likes when I cook up an extra for her to take to work for lunch.
 
They always come out great for me. Last night's was another one. I smoked it at 235 on the Member's Mark for awhile and then as it got to a little over 100 internal I finished that bad boy on the Ninja on medium grill setting. It got that incredible crust. My daughter said it was incredible and my grandson couldn't speak because his mouth was full :D I gnawed on the bone. It had smoke and sear it was great. No leftovers, daughter absconded with that. Sorry I didn't get photos.
Again though: I over shot (slightly on the tomahawk), and quite a lot on the filets. Because the Ninja is so fast, I don't think the temp probes are fast enough to keep up with it. Re, how they "predict" the temp rise.
