And how'd they taste? I'm not so sure about the potatoes, but...WoW! Gotta try these, but maybe with some other filling...Hmmmmmmm...what else could I use?

Oh they were incredible, otherwise I wouldnt have posted this idea. The key was to make an ultimate potato side dish. So I got thinking what makes a great loaded potato? Chives-Bacon-Sour Cream-Cheese (though I forgot to get cheese to mix in with the potatoes). Everyone loves the turds concept, so I just grabbed a bigger pepper (though almost no heat even with minimal scraping) and loaded it with mashed potatoes. One thing is that the mashed potatoes need to be heavy on the chives and flavorings to hold their own with the bacon and pepper.

Im guessing you can stuff whatever you imagine in one for a side dish. Mac and Cheese would also be killer.

But if you want more heat, just add diced jalapenos or serrannos or some hot PURE chili powder (standard spice "chili powder" is a mix of chili, cumin, and other spices).
