Possible Issues With Searwood & Smoque in UK?

Hi there, went to a BBQ retailer that I haven't used before today to check out a Masterbuilt Portable Charcoal Grill with cart as they had it on sale for 50% off so I thought I would take a gamble. Main reason for this is because I have a Q1000 and wanted to convert it to run off bottled gas but that would have cost around half the price of the new grill for regulator and top up the gas bottle. Figured for those costs, might as well try a new girl for midweek that runs of fuel I already have plus being able too add wood too. Time will tell...

Anyways, point of the post. Whilst I was paying and chatting to the guy I asked him about the Searwood & Smoque and if they were selling them as they weren't on display. He told me that they had them in stock and were about to display them but had been told by their Weber guy to hold fire for a while and that they might have to be returned to Weber. I had noticed that most other retailers originally were saying that those models would be shipping in March originally but now all seem to be saying April.

Not sure what the issue could be, but I hope they don't have Smokefire level issues when they are finally released over here.

Searwood has been well received here in the US , most people who have them love them. Searwood is what should have been Weber first pellet grill. I can't imagine a major issue with them in the UK unless it's a power voltage/wattage issue.

Yeah it may not be anything to do with the actual grill itself. Being 240V 50 Hz may be presenting a different challenge with calibrating the electronics
