About an 8 LB butt rubbed the night before. I saw someone on here use their WSM 18 coal ring on a WSK so I tried it. It actually works pretty well. See setuo.7F6CD890-D916-4E90-886D-25351687A09B.jpegFoiled the deflector plate and coming up to temp.

Cooking around 240 on average. WSK stayed between 235 and 258 the whole time.

Below is about 7 hours in.6271DAAB-596D-4C36-B7E8-61622777FD10.jpegWrapped at about 170 and put baked beans mix on open container for 2 hours. Pulled the pork off at 201 and put in a pre-heated oven at 170 and then turned oven off. Let rest 1 hour but had planned on longer. Just ran out of time. No plate pics but had bbq snadwiches with baked beans and chips. Easy cook Saturday while spring cleaning the yard and watching the Masters.
Will post some after cook charcoal pics to see efficiency of the burn on the WSK. It ran about 11 hours total but around 325 for the last 1 hours or so with the beans covered. 36901054-B5FF-45E8-A99D-A7C16A328B80.jpegE81BD579-D6C2-4498-A5EB-7D1A6A8E064B.jpegF8BB3426-812B-45D5-B308-94827D2E7A1D.jpeg

Post cook charcoal leftover after this cook. I’d say between 1/3 and 1/2 of the WSM 18 coal ring left. I think 4-6 hours left on if I had just let it run. C00FC039-983A-47AE-963E-B7D2E6AE6E6F.jpeg
