I have the Weber porcelain-enameled, cast-iron griddle. Should I use the stainless steel or the heavy duty silicone griddle accessories on this griddle?
Thank You:oops:

I never use steel on any enameled CI. Wood utensils or silicone are just fine. If you scratch the porcelain finish, you increase the chance of moisture getting onto the CI which will cause rust over time.

I just looked at the spec's on this and it sez good up to 500 degree, didn't say anything about utensils. I wouldn't be afraid to use metal just don't dig at it, flipping would never give you problems I wouldn't think

You should not use metal for cooking or cleaning, that porcelain chips easy. Barkeeper’s Friend works works wonders for stubborn stains on that enamel, no need to scrub hard. Good luck!
