PLZ Help Cannot see outside of Homenetwork

Hello all,

I have been reading and trying for a couple of days and I cannot figure out the relationship of all the various names and locations.

I have a Foscam that I can see from outside on the internet but I used their software and the WPS button (I cheated).

I have a:
Heatermeter 4.2.4
Netgear R6300 router
Spectrum/Bright House internet
Windows10
Andriod phone
Dyndns (free 7 day trial)
NoIp

I have a degree in Computer Science but that was in 1979. I understand logical, physical relationships and all that. I cannot see these relationships.

I can see the Heatermeter in my home network. 192.168.1.1 named heatermeter on my router. MAC D8EB971588C4

On DYNdns: joehm4.webhop.net 97.102.87.12

My Netgear R6300 router firmware only allows DYNdns not NoIP. I signed up for the 7 day free trial on DYNdns. I did a NoIP a week ago but found out the router does not support NoIP.

I am at my wits end. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Joe Widmayer

Is your Spectrum/Bright House internet also a router, and not just a modem? I had issues getting to the outside world with my HM until I connected it to the UVERSE router and not my netgear router. Unlock port 80 on the UVERSE router and all was good.

More info and changes

Thanks so much for the help!

I think I have been making progress.

Steve M. I think I fixed the IP address here:

Port 80 Is open?

I ran a tool I found and it said port 80 is open.

My browser crashed three times so I will post this and comment in the next reply

I see it too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks so much.
I am not sure what I fixed. I had not done some things on the heatermeter before.
You never realize how many things you have hooked up until you reboot. Computer, router, modem, switch, heatermeter, cell phone.
Last night I cooked a butt for 12 hours. I had planned shorter but I had to go see the grandkids. I set the heatermeter on a low setting and it ran well for hours. Now I can see it from any where.
Next alarms, better probes, text, and emails.

Thanks, there are so many settings I could never had done it without all the help.
