Performer Question

I was at Home Depo tonight and saw they had the Performer on sale for 199. The floor model was definitely a touch n go with the gas assist. I had a sales associate load a NIB in the truck for me and when we got home discovered that it is the Performer without the gas assist. They sold it to me for 199. Are there any differences between these models other than the gas assist.

Hugh, there is differences between these models.What does the table look like on yours and what does the box say ?

Only difference is the gas assist. But that is what the performers are all about (ease of lighting)...and the shelf I guess.

Went to HD this morning and they exchanged for the gas assist model.

I also got the $199 deal from HD, the last one in the store. It was the gas lighter version. Easy to assemble! I wasn't looking for a Performer when I went in, but at that price, it was a no brainer!
