Performer $279 at Home Depot

I was at Home Depot yesterday and noticed that the price of the Performers (black only) were marked at $279. I didn't ask if it was a local special pricing promotion or what but heck, that's $50 off from online, which still has it listed for $329 (for all colors). And another benefit is that there were 5 of them already assembled and ready to go.

Father's Day is just around the corner so if the price is the same else where, maybe some lucky guy might get something special??

They've probably marked down the old stock. Chances are those that are $279 have the thermometer still through the handle, which I believe are pre-2010.

I noticed at my local HD too. For the longest time, they had the pre-2010 model on display and 2 others in boxes on the shelf. The other day I noticed a brand new unit (AA) setup on the display and the other until was just sitting there in the aisle, probably waiting for the markdown.

Nonetheless, still a great deal for a great product!

I have seen the pre-2010 at my local HDs also-I have thought about making them an offer, but probably won't-one has some chips in the paint-I would like it for $125-150, but they probably wouldn't want to sell it for that.

I just sold a NIB Performer that was pre-2010 for $270 on CL...

I didn't notice where the thermometers were but those same Performers have been out in the parking lot ever since they set up the grills a month or so ago. I recall the price said $329 when they first set them out. The one on display inside had the thermometer on the lid so they may have a mix batch. I've got to stop by this weekend so I'll take a peek at them.
