Part #'s from Ereplacements for Thermometer and front leg cap

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to buy a thermometer to drill/install on my non-thermometer'd lid.

I came up with this part number from past threads...but I wanted some clarification before I pulled the trigger.

It's this: http://www.ereplacementparts.com/bezel-for-thermometer-p-1475838.html

I also needed a new front 'cap' for the front leg of my grill as it's missing.

Is this the right part number?

http://www.ereplacementparts.com/hardware-kit-hubcaps-and-leg-cap-p-1476035.html

And I am thinking of buying a new catch pan for my gas newer Spirit.

Is this the correct replacement part? http://www.ereplacementparts.com/aluminum-catch-pan-kit-p-1476407.html

Sorry for all the questions. Thanks in advance!

Andrew, you do not have to go through E-Replacements to get those parts. A simple phone call to Weber Customer Service will get it done. You give them the model numbers, and they will get the correct parts for you. Also, they have a flat shipping rate of $7.00, no matter how many parts that you buy. Just a suggestion.

I just bought parts from them, and I thought that they were reasonable. BTW, where do you think that E-Replacements gets their parts?

Good point.

I just heard Weber has started to price their parts differently/higher and ereplacement is still selling them at what they were supposed to be sold at earlier...

But I will give a call to weber and see how their prices match so far what I find.

Bummer. :(

Just called in they said they can't sell me these parts because my grill didn't come with them originally.

I found the thermo' though, here.

It's $15 dollars though. I thought this thing was supposed to be 6-7 bucks??

Also this right here shows the price difference that weber has compared to ereplacement.

This bezel is 17 dollars, where as the same part from Ereplacement is 5 bucks.

Yes, it's been reported that the Weber reps taking phone orders have been coached to refuse parts to anyone wanting to modify/upgrade their older (or lower tier) grill/smoker especially it it requires drilling.

I believe that #7581 is simply the "retail box" part number for the #60540 thermometer.
Amazon has the retail box and eReplacement has the plain box.

1) eReplacement is still using the old pricing on some of their parts as you have seen which is nice for us.

2) eReplacement has some of their part numbers screwed up. For example, a thermometer might be assigned a bezel part number and vice versa.

3) Suggest you call eReplacement and armed with your part numbers, place your order by phone.
I recently did that and it worked (after they messed up my online order)

Yep! Just got off the phone with them, and they told me that the 60327 (weber has labelled as bezel only) is both Bezel and Thermo. They said no, and the 60540 number is phased out and isn't offered by Weber anymore.

I let the guy know that it's an error, and on the weber site the bezel number is 60327 and thermo is 60540 and this is from a 2013-2014 number. He was helpful and said he was pretty sure they were together but flagged my order in that they were goingto check if it's both thermo and bezel before they send it to me.

I said thanks, and I should hear from them in 3-4 weeks as it needs to get from Weber to them first.

So we'll see.....

And Joe--thank you again for all of your help. You've been one if not the MOST helpful poster as far as help goes on all of this. You da man!

So I just wanted to clear it up.

I think I finally fixed the ereplacement issue.

I got off the phone with them and they confirmed that the 63027 was the bezel and now they have listed the thermometer seperate.

Bummer is the Thermometer is 13 bucks now. :(

Oh well. Hopefully I fixed up any future issues!
