Paint touch ups

I have obtained an 18.5 Kettle in the Browie two tone brown.

There is one dent (color missing) so some other bad areas.

What is the best way to touch up and preserve these areas.

I have not took the wood handles off yet, the date code is stamped on the metal under the handle?

Date Code is on the Top Damper if made after 1979. Mine did not have one.

As for touch up, you can try to sand down and find a heat resistant paint close enough. I just used regular rustoleum on mine. Just depends on how detailed you want to get.

Date Code was "E", that makes it a 1983. Owner's manual in plastic alone with Book.
