A recent bottle of Cline Zinfandel had this recipe on the back of the bottle. I have enjoyed it at the restaurant and decided to post it here.

P F Chang’s BBQ Sauce
1 tsp minced ginger
1 tsp minced garlic
2 tsp Five Spice Powder
1 tsp ground Star Anise
1 ½ cup sugar
3 cups Heinz Ketchup
2 ½ oz soy sauce
1 ½ oz Hoisen Sauce
2 oz Sake
2 oz water
Add all ingredients in large mixing bowl and whisk until all sugar is dissolved.
Makes one quart
