OTG Sweeper Arm Broken - Replacement?

Hello All,

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this or not. One of the sweeper arms on my OTG has rusted and no longer sweeps the ash to the vent holes. Neither does it adequately cover the hole so I can properly regulate air flow. Can this part be replaced or is it integral to the grill? If it can be replced where can I get the parts? Please advise...

Not to hijack- I have had the same problem with my ash sweeper in my performer. The original lasted about 5 years and the replacement one touch parts have both quickly lost their "spring" and no longer actually sweep the bowl. This now is the 2nd set of sweepers. Last set only lasted a few weeks before they became non effective. Any ideas? They seemed to loose their spring after a hot fire I made for a pizza.

Weber made a stainless steel version of the sweeps. Part number 90720. You may want to call Weber to see if they are still available.
