I was going to get a pitminder because it was basic and rather inexpensive. Now they have been discotinued and the least expensive guru is $300. The pitminder with all of the accessories I think came out to $150. I could afford the $150 (and the wife wouldn't be as mad). $300 isn't going to happen. At this point I can't afford it nor could I hide the fact that I spent $300. I believe stokers are more expensive correct? Maybe I shouldn't bother looking until I have the $$$, that way I wouldn't be disappointed. Oh well. Not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things but I really wanted the pit minder. Any other temperature control systems that are around $150?
