Rico would bite me otherwise. A 2004 Dell desktop finally failed. I don't know what part of it failed but my fax software would not send. The fax modem checked out. There is something wrong with the hard drive or motherboard, I hooked up the 2003 I owned and it said it had a bad disk. I searched the Internet and found a HP desktop to fit my needs. Within driving distance, refurbished but from a box store so it's on them. It's the fax server for my business, some companies still run 14.4 fax machines. I did everything including checking the board via Windows. I have used Winfax for years, not looking forward to recreating cover pages for Windows Fax and Scan. Winfax no longer exists, Windows killed it.
