So on Thursday evening my son hands me a package from Weber.
I didn’t have anything on order so was puzzled what it could be.
I open it up to find a Weber Summit Charcoal grill Cookbook. Interesting, why did I get this? Anyway, I shrugged it off.
Fast forward to 3:05 am today. I get an email from Weber asking me to review my recent purchase. Weird!
So, I end up falling asleep but it is on my mind.
First the cookbook, now a review email. What the hell is going on?
I wake up at 6am and can’t stop thinking about this. Did someone, somehow purchase this thing using my credit information?
I toss and turn until 7am and get out of bed. 8:01 I am on the phone with Weber customer service to get to the bottom of it all.
It turns out it was all a glitch in their system when I made an inquiry about a local appliance center that supposedly had it in inventory.
Whew… Issue resolved.
I have to say the CSR (Paak) I spoke to at Weber was fantastic! After my issue was resolved he answered a bunch of questions I had about different things.
At one point he directed me to a listing on Amazon for the Vieluxe and we got a good laugh.
Anyway, I just thought I would share my short term ownership of the Kamado and give you guys a laugh about the Vieluxe.
Now that everything is settled I think I am going back to bed.
