Listed in Killingworth CT, $35 Listing says it is for natural gas. (Is this really a big deal in a side burner?)

Did you grab it Hank? The listing is gone already. I would have gotten it and worried about changing the orifice later.

No, it was too far for me
Hopefully someone here got it
I got one in about the same condition on eBay a few months ago and it has a bigger flame than the original.
Would an orifice from a main burner valve fit, or do I need to use one specifically made for the side burner?

Depending on the year of the grill, the main burner orifices can be either 3/8” hex or 7mm while the side burner is typically always 7mm. FWIW - I picked this up for a glass door 3400 restoration projects which started life as a natural gasser and will remain as such once completed and in my collection. I reached out to the seller yesterday and he agreed to ship it to me here in NY if I paid the shipping. You don’t see these NOS side burners too often and it was still a great deal even after the shipping charges.
