Ribs are done. Rubbed with Yardbirds and finished with Blues Hog Smokey Mountain sauce. Excellent smoke ring. I really like lots of smoke taste and did not get that. Hope Weber smoke boost ready soon. Used Weber hickory pellets. Did notice that even with the hopper mod that the pellets still need to be pushed down some. So far I am happy with the cooker and did not experience any significant problems. Will be doing plenty of cooking on it. My charcoal grill will feel ignored. Even moved the WSM to the back of the yard out of the way. Like Rich Dahl was expressing - as I get older (69 years) the pellet grill is easier for me to deal with.
