Need posting help

Would someone please tell me how to insert text between pictures?
I have seen posters do it, but I can't figure out how.

If I want a post with words between the pictures, I typically try to start typing, and leave a blank spot for a pic.

( like a few lines here )

And then I write more

( and leave a few blank lines)

And so on....

then I go back back and insert the pics in the blank line areas using the "Insert Image" button.

that's one way.

Assuming I'm understanding correctly, first I usually just drag and drop my pics into my post. Then, after I drop one of the pics I press the ENTER key (I'm a desktop user) and then I can add text.

I upload all my photos, and then move the cursor to the part of the post where I want any particular photo and then move to that photo below and “insert”.
