Need a part number

I am looking for a part number for the Tuck-Away Lid Holder for the Platinum Performer 22" if anyone has it. I called Weber, but they said it isn't available as a separate part but that makes no sense to me. How would you replace a damaged one if the part isn't available.

Ha, I thought you'd be able to just get the single part. I do believe the actual lid bale is the same on my 98 SS Performer as the 11 Performer I have.

Thanks. Plan to add the lid holder to the kettles I have that don't have them. My original redhead has it and it is great, I think.

Weber is funny about selling 'upgrade' parts to their grills that weren't originally equipped. If you tell them that's what you're doing with it, they might not sell it to ya. If you tell them it's for a Performer, Mastertouch, or One Touch Plus, then you're golden. Hate to lie, but seriously - just sell the stuff to who buys it!
