My Weber line up / sad day for my brand new 26 inch kettle / photo dump

Have become a huge fan of Weber over the last year after having charcoal grills for a decade and getting tired of replacing them almost yearly, I decided to give Weber a try and man you can't go wrong........but can you?

I received my 18 inch WSM April 15th, ordered it from my local Ace and went to pick it up only to find it was already assembled, annoyance, yes, but I lived and got it home only to find out my mid section is out of round by 1/4 and really only seals completely in two positions on the base.

I don't like to complain so I lived with it and marked my alignment spots and lived to fight another day.

I just received my 26 inch kettle on Saturday and had the time to put it together only to find out my bottom bowl was out of round 5/8 of an inch and the lid wouldn't go on no matter how I rotated it.

Weber made it right and is sending

Yah I think quality has dropped. My favorite Weber is my oldest.

It’s all about money, and margins not product. At least they made it right. My newest Weber performer 3 years old, I’ve had to replace wheels and the little ash swivel cleaner thing. One wheel broke and the handle to swipe the ash broke off.

My oldest one is best. Probably 20 years old. Much thicker metal or it seems
