My first Weber gas grill

I just picked up this grill today, found it on CL for $120 with a cover and 2 full tanks. This is my first Weber gas grill (8 kettles and a performer)http://i847.photobucket.com/al...26-inch/S3600014.jpg

so I probably have alot to learn and I know this is the place for that. This grill is pretty clean, I have no idea how old it is but it doesn't look like it was used very much. The grates and flavorizer bars look fine...a little crusty but it knocks right off. The burners also look to be in good shape but....I noticed that the back burner seems to made a clicking noise and surges just a little. I can see the flame get a little brighter when it clicks. It seems to lessen the longer it burns. Is this normal or do I have a problem?

thats a sweet lookin unit. if you want all the info on it, take the cover off were the gas knobs are. underneath, attached to the cover is a bunch of info. call weber and they will tell you exactly what you have and what year. you might want to make sure that the tubes and holes are all clean. also there are bug screens at the manifold end, under the knobs, and they can be clogged/dirty. clean them and see.

Michael,

I have the exact grill - you will enjoy it tremendously. I did replace the grates with the cast iron grates.
