I just put my compression latches on my 18 and 22 inch doors and have minor issues with both of the doors and wondered if anybody else has. The latch on the 18 sits a little to high and the nut barely hits the center section when trying to close it. I need to just barely grind off a little and it will shut fine and looks nice and flush everywhere.
The 22 does not fit flush and there is gap in the upper left corner along the top when looking from the front. But when you look from the inside the center section hole appears to press tightly against the door so it will seal good I think. I tried to bend the door to fix the gap but it just springs back to it' original shape. I was afraid to push any harder and kink the door so I left it alone. Everything looks perfect but either the door or the center section is out of round. Oh well I am just a perfectionist and it bugs me that's all.
I am going to play with it some more today. Bored and thought I would write something.
